TORUS vortex pumps are designed to efficiently handle.

  1. Large soft solids that will pass the pump discharge port (up to 8”)
  2. Long stringy or fibrous materials that “wind up” in conventional non-clog pumps
  3. Delicate, crystalline, or other friable solids with minimum degradation
  4. Slurries or sludges, etc. with high gas entrainment (up to 20 percent by volume) without vapor locking
  5. Large soft solids, sludges, etc. mixed with varying amounts of abrasive or highly abrasive solids.
